Nuova intervista a Dan Aykroyd, la prima dopo la morte di Ramis. Dan affronta l’argomento GB3 senza tanta insistenza…e dice delle cose bellissime sul suo amico e collega.

a partire da 5:50. L’intervistatore chiede qual’è l’eredità lasciata da Harold Ramis, suo amico, collega e maestro.

DA: I think his spirit of collaboration and his feeling of encouragement to fellow artists. He was very generous, brilliant… wise. Ghostbusters would have not been the film it was without Harold and I will miss him now in my collaboration now on Ghostbusters III.

DA: credo sia il suo spirito di collaborazione ed il suo incoraggiare i suoi amici artisti. Era molto generoso, brillante….saggio. Ghostbusters non sarebbe stato il film che è senza Harold e mi mancherà molto ora nella collaborazione su Ghostbusters III

Aykroyd: But you know what? I sit there and I’m writing on the script now and… I hear Harold, not so much a psychic voice but more of a kind of a muse that’s like ‘well Harold wouldn’t say that, no he would correct this, no he wouldn’t have the character say this, no he’d make this, he’d bump this up a bit, he’d move this scene here’, you know? I kind of feel I know, because we did the first two scripts together, I know what he would do with this, a third script, and thankfully we had a lot of his input before he died, on the third script, so it will have a lot of his essence in there.

Aykroyd: ma sai cosa? Sono seduto qui e sto lavorando allo script ora e….sento Harold, non tanto come una voce psichica ma più come una musa, io sento “bene, Harold non avrebbe detto questo, no….avrebbe corretto quest’altro, no, non avrebbe fatto dire questo a questo personaggio, avrebbe fatto quest’altro, avrebbe carivato un po’ in questo punto, avrebbe fatto scorrere la scena così, hai presente? In un certo senso sento di saperlo perchè abbiamo scritto le prime due sceneggiature assieme, so cosa avrebbe fatto con questa, una terza sceneggiatura, e fortunatamente abbiamo avuto moltissimi suoi input prima che morisse, quindi la terza sceneggiatura avrà molto della sua essenza.

Aykroyd: This is the second writing partner, I lost Tom Davis, Harold… so I guess the lesson is, don’t write with me.

Aykroyd: questo è il secondo partner di scrittura che perdo. Ho perso Tom Davis, Harold…..penso che la lezione sia: non scrivete assieme a me!

BT: How do you truely remake a classic movie for a new generation?

BT: Qual’è il segreto per fare veramente un buon remake di un classico per le nuove generazioni?

Aykroyd: You don’t remake it, you make a new one. Think Star Trek, hand it to the next generation… just push it off like a fledgling bird and just let it fly on its own.

Aykroyd: Non fai un remake, fai un nuovo capitolo. Pensa a Star Trek, passi il tutto ad un nuova generazione….lo spingi fuori come un piccolo uccellino e lasci che inizi a volare da solo.

Quindi ragazzi,.

Non sarà un remake, ma un seguito vero e proprio, mettiamocelo in testa.
Avrà molti input dei vecchi GB anche se non saranno presenti molto nel film. Crediamoci. Ed aspettiamo.
