Oggi Deadline in un articolo dedicato a Draft Day, un nuovo film sul football con Kevin Costner, il sito sostiene che le riprese di Ghostbusters 3 si faranno l’estate prossima e che sarà un reboot senza Bill Murray. Ecco la parte tradotta da Davide Passaia.
Paramount chose not to make it in the small window that Reitman has before he is expected to finally get the long-gestating Ghostbusters reboot in front of the cameras next summer for Sony Pictures (sans Bill Murray). Costner–who has made more quality sports films than any active actor–Field of Dreams, Tin Cup, Bull Durham and For Love Of The Game–is also very busy. He’s filming the Jack Ryan relaunch, and after that he has the Luc Besson pic Three Days To Kill, about a dying assassin who has a short window to clean up professional and personal loose ends. It would be tough to find room to squeeze in the football film and finish before Reitman goes back to Ghostbusters duty.
Paramount ha scelto di non fare il film nella breve finestra di tempo che Reitman ha prima che si metta al lavoro per portare di fronte alle cineprese il lungo atteso reboot dei Ghostbusters, questo la prossima estate per Sony Pictures (senza Bill Murray). Costner – che ha fatto molti film di qualità sullo sport – è anche lui molto impegnato. Sta filmando il rilancio di Jack Ryan e dopo quello ha un film con Luc Besson – Tre Giorni per Uccidere. Sarebbe molto difficile trovare spazio per il film sul football e finirlo prima che Reitman torni ai suoi doveri coi Ghostbusters.
