“Incontrerò Ivan Reitman il 7 giugno a Cleveland, il che è eccitante perchè è stato un progetto altalenante per alcuni anni ma ora abbiamo in mano veramente uno script solido” dice Aykroyd. “E posso dire che sarà incentrato su una nuova generazione – pensate al recente Star Trek”
Dan ha dato anche un breve assaggio di cosa potremo aspettarci dalla trama.
“Siamo molto interessati alle ricerche sull’antimateria che si stanno facendo in giro per il mondo” dice “Penso al CERN e credo che potrebbe essere un campo di applicazione per il paranormale”
He hinted that the new film will be focused on a younger set of busters, following in the footsteps of another recent sci-fi reinvention.
“I’m going to be meeting Ivan [Reitman] on June 7 in Cleveland, which is exciting as it’s been on and off for a few years but we’re really looking at a solid script now,” Aykroyd told us. “And I can say that it will be focused on the new generation – think the latest Star Trek.”
He also gave a very quick tease on what we can expect from the plot.
“We’re very interested in the anti-matter research that’s going on in the world,” he said. “I look at CERN and think it could be a breeding ground for the paranormal.”
